My favorite VW is the B5 Passat, but not any B5, just the factory armored one, the Protect V6. I love the wheels, the built in PA system and how undriveble it is due to the glare and distortion caused by the 22mm thick italian Isoclima windows and windshield.

The suspension and brakes have been reworked and some parts borrowed from the W8 Passat, when it was new it costed 200k dollars here.

I drove one a few times, it is unreal, thing feels like a tank (4 motion helps) I love it.

I adored this gen of VWs, even though they were "terrible". I don't know why, but I feel like it was so classy and cool but still sporty (With the wagons and sedans being available as a manual and stuff).

They did a Protect W8 , y'know.

The Passat has already been produced as a four-seater armour-plated vehicle with the 142 kW / 193 bhp V6 and 4MOTION with manual gearbox or automatic transmission since mid-2001. Since early 2002 the Passat Protect is also available with the 202 kW / 275 bhp W8 engine.

I like it. It'd be better to Protect W8 like Tony Montana though.
